The Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) held its regional meeting in Boulder, Colorado, over the July 4thweekend. Special thanks to Cedar Barstow for recording and sharing the minutes.
She reports that strong group latihans had a powerful, cumulative spiritual effect and resulted in a good testing process for new leadership roles. The entertainment and artistic presentations were bedazzling, and the kids program was so full of activities that the kids didn’t want to leave.
Discussion focused on finding future ways to support the involvement of all members in this vast region; offering travel assistance to meetings for delegates from outlying areas; and considering the purchase of a house or property for the region. The region has a housing fund with Steve Radow as the trustee. The Atalanta Project, with 44 acres in Crestone,
Colorado, has a community garden and facilities for Subud or community programs. RMR will maintain its Regional Council structure made up of a chairman, vice-chairman, treasurer, regional helpers, and any members who wish to be involved, with regular calls open to all.
The new committee includes:
Chairperson: Roland Evans, Boulder
Vice Chairperson: Mircea Moody, Denver
Treasurer: Eli Dokson, San Luis Valley (continuing).
The Regional Helper Dewan comprises:
Rachel Amos, Denver
Joanna Dokson, San Luis Valley
Ruslan Feldman, Boulder
